Princess Beatrice weds Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi in private Windsor service

Princess Beatrice has hitched property head honcho Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi at a private function in Windsor.

The wedding occurred on Friday morning at The Royal Chapel of All Saints at Royal Lodge. It was gone to by the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh, alongside other close family members.

Beatrice was at first due to wed in May however coronavirus postponed the plans.

The new date had not been declared ahead of time and Buckingham Palace said the function was “little”

The wedding occurred at 11:00 BST as per all applicable government rules, the castle said in an announcement.

When the coronavirus lockdown started on 23 March, weddings in England were restricted under practically all conditions. Notwithstanding, since 4 July, services of up to 30 individuals have been permitted to happen.

The princess, 31, and Mr Mapelli Mozzi, 35, had initially wanted to wed on 29 May at the Chapel Royal, St James Palace, in London.

The new scene of Royal Lodge in Windsor Great Park – a short drive from Windsor Castle – is Beatrice’s youth home. Her folks, Prince Andrew and Sarah, Duchess of York, despite everything live at the property and furthermore went to the service.

It was held at the church routinely utilized by the Queen as her place of love when she is remaining at Windsor.

Mr Mapelli Mozzi – known as Edo – and Beatrice started dating in fall 2018. They got drew in during an end of the week outing to Italy last September.

Their families have known each other for a long time. The couple are said to have begun a relationship in the wake of meeting again at Beatrice’s sister Princess Eugenie’s wedding to Jack Brooksbank.

Beatrice, who is ninth in line to the throne, is not a full-time working royal but works for Afiniti, an artificial intelligence software firm, where she is vice president of partnerships and strategy.

Mr Mapelli Mozzi is the son of former Olympic skier Count Alessandro Mapelli Mozzi and Nikki Williams-Ellis and is a count himself.

The princess has become a stepmother, as he has a young son named Wolfie with ex-fiancee Dara Huang.
